Siemens signed a contract with the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation (CCHF) for the supply, installation, testing, training and commissioning of medical equipment for the hospital in Cairo. The Children’s Oncology Hospital is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East. It will assist in the process of fighting all forms of Pediatric cancer in its’ early and advanced stages. Oncology Physicians shall have an edge in screening and treating children and eradicating the disease. Siemens’ Medical Solutions signed a contract with the Ministry of Health for the delivery of six dual slice CT equipment, where five are to be installed in Upper Egypt. In the field of cardiology, Med provided three Axiom Artis dFC to be installed in the Cleopatra Hospital, National Cardiac Institute and Cairo Cathcor Center.
