In line with its active participation and commitment in spreading the principles of transparency and anti-corruption in all business activities, Siemens participated as a corporate partner at The Fifth Corporate Sustainability Forum under the title th June, 2011 in partnership with the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EID), The American University in Cairo and supported by The World Bank Institute, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and Global Corporate Governance Forum. The opening session of the conference tackled the transparency and anti-corruption concepts and their impact on civil societies in light of the current changes in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
